## Key takeaways

- Pudgy Penguins ranked third among collections with $1.50 million in sales.
- Courtyard led collections at $7.68 million; Ethereum led networks at $17.60 million.
- Total NFT transactions fell 6.92% to 778,055.

Pudgy Penguins more than doubled its sales volume in the seven days to October 10. Across the NFT market, dollar sales edged higher while the number of transactions declined.

Pudgy Penguins’ weekly [NFT](https://kriptometa.com/en/glossary/nft) sales rose 125.66% to about $1.50 million in the seven days to October 10. Across the market, sales increased just 0.90% to $39.85 million, according to [CryptoSlam figures reported by Crypto.news](https://crypto.news/nft-sales-rise-to-39-85m-as-pudgy-penguins-jump-125/).

The modest gain in dollar volume came with fewer transactions. The report recorded 778,055 sales transactions, down 6.92% from the preceding seven days. These figures describe the weekly snapshot taken on October 10, rather than live market conditions on October 11.

## Courtyard leads, Pudgy Penguins ranks third

Pudgy Penguins recorded 196 transactions, a 151.28% increase, with 94 buyer addresses and 123 seller addresses. Those counts refer to wallets identified by the tracker, not individual people. [The increase in sales volume](https://kriptometa.com/en/nft-market-analysis) also does not mean that the collection’s floor price rose by the same percentage.

Polygon-based Courtyard topped the collection rankings with about $7.68 million in sales, close to one-fifth of the entire market. CryptoPunks, on Ethereum, came second at $2.45 million, up 24.45%. Its weekly dollar total came from just 26 transactions.

Courtyard’s products are tied to physical cards held in custody, unlike purely digital art collections. Its [physical redemption rules](https://docs.courtyard.io/courtyard/logistics-and-legal/asset-redemption-and-shipping) say the corresponding digital token is burned when a holder requests the underlying card. Redemption requires identity verification, and the customer pays shipping and any applicable taxes. The weekly rankings therefore also include tokens linked to physical collectible cards.

## Ethereum keeps its lead

Ethereum accounted for roughly 44.2% of total NFT sales. Polygon ranked second and Bitcoin third. Sales on Bitcoin declined, while the two networks ahead of it both posted weekly gains.

Top three networks in the October 10 snapshot
| Network | 7-day sales | Weekly change |
|---|---|---|
| Ethereum | $17.60 million | +4.52% |
| Polygon | $8.62 million | +5.76% |
| Bitcoin | $3.55 million | −7.33% |

Behind the top three, Immutable recorded $2.64 million, up 22.06%, while Base reached $2.40 million, a 27.87% increase. Sales fell 16.26% on BNB Chain and 10.51% on Solana.

**Suspected wash trades are counted separately.** CryptoSlam’s table lists $19.03 million of [wash-trading](https://kriptometa.com/en/glossary/wash-trading) volume on Polygon alongside its $8.62 million in sales. That separate category, used for trades that may artificially inflate prices or activity, is excluded from the sales rankings above.

The same table separately recorded $4.80 million in wash-trading volume on Base and $1.15 million on Ethereum.
