## Key takeaways

- The Valour Zcash (ZEC) SEK ETP began trading on Spotlight Stock Market on September 29, 2026.
- The Swedish-krona product carries a 1.9% management fee and ISIN CH1108681763.
- The ETP tracks ZEC’s price. Holding it in a brokerage account is different from making a shielded Zcash transaction.

Investors can now gain ZEC exposure through another route that does not require a crypto wallet. Valour’s Swedish listing brings the asset’s price movements into brokerage accounts, without providing its on-chain privacy features.

Valour has brought a new route to Zcash exposure onto Sweden’s securities market. Its ZEC-tracking exchange-traded product began trading on Spotlight Stock Market on September 29, 2026. The Valour Zcash (ZEC) SEK ETP is priced in Swedish kronor and carries a 1.9% management fee.

According to the issuer’s [launch announcement](https://www.valour.com/en/newsroom/valour-launches-zcash-zec-etp), investors do not have to purchase ZEC, store private keys or set up a crypto wallet. Valour, a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies, offers a security tracking ZEC’s price performance rather than a balance that can be spent on the Zcash network.

## ZEC exposure without setting up a wallet

The listing changes how investors can access Zcash rather than what the network itself does. An investor whose brokerage offers the ETP can take a position on ZEC’s price without handling the digital asset’s custody. Availability still depends on the products supported by the investor’s broker.

Valour Chief Revenue Officer Jacob Lindberg said the company had seen interest in ZEC from both professional investors and Nordic retail customers. He described the appetite for a listed instrument:

> “The demand for a listed product tracking ZEC has been clear.”

## A 1.9% fee and Swedish-krona pricing

The [official product page](https://www.valour.com/en/products/valour-zcash-sek) names Valour Inc. as the issuer and gives the trading code as **VALOUR ZEC SEK**, with ISIN **CH1108681763**. The product is open-ended. Avanza, Nordnet, Montrose and SAVR appear in its brokerage listings.

Valour says its certificate products are fully hedged with the relevant digital assets and use licensed custody providers. Delegating custody does not remove exposure to falls in ZEC’s price. The 1.9% management fee is also a different cost from a brokerage commission or the [spread between buying and selling prices](https://kriptometa.com/en/glossary/bid-ask-spread).

Comparing the SEK-denominated ETP with a [Zcash price](https://kriptometa.com/en/markets/zcash) quoted in dollars or USDT requires attention to the currency difference. The product page displays ZEC’s dollar value, the SEK exchange rate and the multiplier per certificate separately. One certificate therefore does not carry the same quoted price as one ZEC.

## Privacy on the network, price exposure on the exchange

Zcash is a payments network that can protect transaction details using [zero-knowledge proofs](https://kriptometa.com/en/glossary/zero-knowledge-proof). Users can choose between shielded and transparent transactions. The ETP does not bring that payment function into a brokerage account; it offers a separate financial instrument that tracks the asset’s price.

**Owning an ETP is different from making a shielded payment.** The privacy features of Zcash transactions do not automatically extend to an ETP purchase through a broker. The product’s value also remains exposed to ZEC market movements.

The listing adds to Valour’s range of more than 100 digital asset ETPs and widens European access to Zcash. It has a different issuer, trading venue and fee structure from the [21Shares Zcash ETP listed in Paris and Amsterdam](https://kriptometa.com/en/zcash-21shares-euronext-paris-amsterdam) on September 22.
