How are Bitcoin transaction fees calculated?
Fee (satoshis) = ceil(sat/vB × virtual size); BTC = satoshis / 100,000,000
A worked example
A 140 vB transaction at 5 sat/vB costs 700 satoshis, or 0.000007 BTC.
