BNB Chain stablecoin holders have another route into Aave App. The announcement includes a waitlist access code, while Android and web users remain on a waiting list.
Aave announced on October 8 that its mobile app now accepts USDC and USDT deposits from BNB Chain. Users holding those stablecoins on the network can transfer them into Aave App. The update concerns the mobile app’s funding options, rather than a first deployment of the Aave lending protocol on BNB Chain.
An access code for waitlisted users
Aave gave waitlisted users the Ghost Pass code AAVEONBNB. The code was announced as a way to access the app. The post does not offer a BNB Chain deposit bonus, specify a reward amount or introduce a new yield rate.
Aave’s October 8 announcement of BNB Chain support
The post loads from X when you open it.
Aave App previously opened USDC and USDT deposits from Ethereum. The BNB Chain addition expands the supported networks for the same two stablecoins. A matching token name does not make every network eligible: Aave’s disclosures require transfers to use the address supplied by the app and the correct supported blockchain.
The app’s product page, checked on October 9, offers an iOS download while directing Android and web users to a waitlist. Service availability and features can also vary by jurisdiction.
Yield comes from lending markets
Aave App uses a self-custodial wallet created within the application. Stablecoins arriving on a supported network enter the Stable Vault smart-contract system under the user’s authorised instructions. Pooled balances can be allocated across networks and lending strategies under governance-set parameters; the deposit network is not a commitment to keep funds on that chain.
Yield comes from activity in Aave’s lending markets. The product page advertises an annual percentage yield (APY) of up to 7.25%, including the base rate and eligible boosts. Rates can change and are not guaranteed. The BNB Chain announcement does not promise that every depositor will receive the advertised maximum.
Aave App is not a bank. Balance Protection is a separate program for eligible customers, subject to terms and limits. It is not insurance, a bank deposit guarantee or a promise to reimburse every loss.
Aave’s risk and fee disclosures say withdrawals depend on available liquidity in the relevant market and may be delayed during heavy utilisation or market stress. Some onchain transactions can incur network and swap fees. The new BNB Chain post does not provide route-specific deposit limits, a fee schedule or transaction-volume data.
