Stone Rush brings a Web3 economy to a game built around defending mines. The launch gives players a route from in-game resources to WEMIX, but the exchange channel and its limits matter.
Wemade launched Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush for Android on September 29. Developed by LightCON, the Web3 version of Hellsquad Rrrush! connects mine defense to an economy that extends into WEMIX. WEMIX PLAY said more than 50,000 users preregistered before the launch.
The official notice puts the opening at 02:00 UTC. South Korea, China, Singapore and Vietnam are excluded from the release; Turkey is not on that list. Android is the only supported platform at launch. The Stone Rush listing on Google Play names LightCON as its developer, while the earlier game in the series remains a separate app.
How mined resources connect to WEMIX
Players command demon squads defending Hell against human invaders, with randomized upgrades and treasures shaping their progress. The Web3 version adds Hexstone Mine Wars, a contest over mining territory. Captured mines generate HELLSHARD, a resource that can buy progression items or be converted into HELLSTONE.
In Wemade’s launch announcement, HELLSTONE provides the connection between the game economy and WEMIX. It can also be converted back into HELLSHARD. That is the GameFi element: resources are used for character progression but also have a route into a token economy beyond the game.
Station conversion is one-way; trading is separate
The official opening notice reviewed by KriptoMeta makes a specific distinction:
“Station exchanges are only available from HELLSTONE to WEMIX”
WEMIX PLAY, September 29 launch notice
A completed Station exchange cannot be reversed. The route described for buying HELLSTONE with WEMIX is the user-to-user Item Market instead. Station itself does not provide a two-way exchange. The company also says currency conversions are subject to daily limits for individual users and for the server as a whole.
What does the 50,000 figure measure? It counts preregistrations. No active-player total, completed trading volume or player earnings were disclosed.
Whether preregistration interest turns into sustained player spending remains to be seen. The distinction between player demand and the funding of rewards, discussed in our analysis of GameFi economies, will matter when assessing Stone Rush after launch.
Preregistration closes; rewards are due within two weeks
The preregistration period, which began on August 27, closed with the launch. WEMIX PLAY says eligible users will receive AMBER, PLAY and skin rewards within two weeks starting September 29, subject to schedule changes. Separate web shops offer character skins for PLAY and item packages for AMBER or WEMIX. Those preregistration rewards should not be confused with a new distribution open to everyone.
The official list includes 11 interface languages, without Turkish. Our guide to evaluating Web3 games explains the checks around app versions, wallet connections and asset utility. Stone Rush adds a new release to the GameFi news cycle; evidence of player activity and how its economy performs must come after launch.
LightCON’s 30-second official trailer, published on July 29, 2026, introduces the game’s visual world:
